Huldra Maker

Description

It's insane how complicated and overdecorated this game is considering the extremely simple game it's a remake of. Out of all the dressup games I've made, this one has to be the most visually pleasing, or at least the one that I've put most effort into as far as the art goes.
Huldra has never been traditionally depicted as having anything other than pale human skin and ordinary human hair colours plus she's always described as looking exactly like a human girl save for the tail and back, but I decided to include some crazier colours and some strange skin markings for the sake of giving it more options. Some people also like to depict her with troll ears, so I included that as an option as well.

I decided to remake the Huldra Maker. I could've used the same body for her as the last time, but I wanted a different pose so you'll be able to see the vests and shirts up front, while still having her back visible. Originally this model had nipples because I wanted it to look more realistic than the last one, but I didn't want to put a maturity filter on this, so I censored it with a pair of leaves. I still think DA's attitude towards this is kind of prudish and weird, but I'm not in charge of the rules here so I guess I'll just have to live with it.
This time it has a lot more options, and the drawings are much more detailed.
This time I also decided to include some options to make a huldra that isn't necessarily forest themed - she can also be mountain themed or ocean themed in this one.
Half of the clothing items in this one are closely based on real bunads (Norway's national costume), though much of the embroidery has been altered for the sake of keeping it simple. These bunads are not in any way everyday clothing, but since the huldra IS supposed to be very beautiful I figured it was okay to let her wear very detailed and rich clothes too. I've put together some real-life bunads and linked to pictures of real ones here if you're curious to see what they look like: niobesnuppa.deviantart.com/art…

For those who haven't played the first Huldra Maker and don't know what this creature is, I'll provide an explanation:
The huldra (pronounced hool-drah) is a seductive nature spirit from Norwegian folklore, and has a counterpart called Skogsrå in Swedish folklore. Huldra lives in the forests or in the mountains, and she often disguises herself as a farm girl, seduces human men and lures them into caves or into the underworld, and they're usually never heard from again. She's very beautiful when she's young (though she gets uglier the older she gets), but most hulders are also evil, and strong enough to bend a horseshoe just using her hands. She is also said to steal human infants and replace them with her own ugly troll babies. The only way to tell the difference between a hulder and any other innocent farm girl is that she has a cow tail, and a back that's like a rotten tree trunk, but she gets very angry if anyone looks at either of them.
There are a few variations in the stories of what the huldra really looks like, so I decided to include three different versions: the romantic Norwegian version where she has a cow tail, the Swedish version where she has a fox tail, and the old Norse version where she has lynx ears. I tried to add some options to make her more savage and animalistic than in the last Huldra Maker.
There are also male hulders in Scandinavian folklore. These are known as huldrekalls, and while not as popular in myths as the female huldra, they're the same thing only they lure women instead of men. I'm considering making a male version someday when I have the time.

Just a little note: Before you complain about the hoods and bonnets not fitting all hairstyles, let me just say I KNOW. I was going to fix that, but then Flash decided to be a pain and corrupt the file, effectively preventing me from adding the finishing touches I had planned. There are also 2 backgrounds missing because this SWF is a backup file created before I added the last 2 backgrounds, and the loading screen in the unfixable main file actually had much more decoration than this one has. This game is like 99,9% finished, but that final 0,1% can never be added and it is extremely frustrating for me. -____- Also, I honestly don't know what's up with that loading bar, it didn't look that stupid last time I checked, so clearly something went wrong there. Oh well, it's just a loading bar, so I honestly don't care all that much.
Rant over.

This game was made using Adobe Flash CS3. If you want to upload a screenshot of this game, please credit me in the description, and I would like it if you gave me a link to it so I can see it as well. :)

Let's establish some ground rules when it comes to my games.
1. You can post screenshots or draw the outfits you see in my games, as long as you credit me in the description of your deviation.
2. Regarding adoptables, you are allowed to make adoptables with my games, but you can't demand payment for them. You should not get paid for posting screenshots from games you didn't make, it's just straight-up scamming.
3. You can make characters with my games, but I think it would be best if you try to modify them a little bit, not necessarily to avoid essentially ripping me off, but rather because if you modify them, you make your character more unique rather than just something lazy and unoriginal you made in a dressup game.
